Welcome to Wikipedia!!!

  1. Please don't remove genuinely relevant material from articles. Also, read WP:POINT and WP:Civility. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 12:52, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  2. The article The Brent has been deleted. Please do not recreate it. Thanks. DJ Clayworth 20:58, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  3. Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia; it is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. More specifically, you should not revert warnings placed on your user page. This is considered vandalism. Thank you. Kukini 21:53, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bar set too high

[edit]

I'm an inclusionist - sorry if that upsets people. Majority rules - so I accept some of my changes will get reversed whilst deletionism is in vogue. Gianniv45 22:26, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently your translation of inclusion does not include keeping welcome notices on your page. Kukini 22:28, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Absolutely brilliant. I was sat here with my mate discussing this, and predicted this exact message. You're right. My interpretation of inclusion does not include keeping welcome notices on my page. My attitude to inclusionism extends to the knowledge base in the main body of Wikipedia, not in my talk page, which is not part of that knowledge base (would you convert this talk page into a main wikipedia article?). I don't reject the concept of notability - I do think the bar is set too high though - but in any event, the notability policy does not extend to talk pages.--Gianniv45 22:37, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds fair enough to me. I actually agree with your comments on the bar being set too high. Be well, and happy editing. Kukini 22:39, 4 October 2006 (UTC).[reply]
