Have you been to New Caledonia, buddy? Very special place, eh. =J //Big Adamsky 12:52, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I sure have been there! I lived there for one year with my parents back in 1998-1999 (I remember the talk about the Noumea Accord) What is your connection to the place? It would be interesting to hear... - GSchjetne 14:12, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Fascinating! I went there to do reasearch/field work for my thesis in Geography. Why did your parents move there for one whole year? //Big Adamsky 15:54, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for taking so long - My father is retired and my mother was allowed a paid year off work as a carrot for working in the north. So we decided to go to New Caledonia since we had friends (who turned out not to be friends but mentally disturbed). But that aside, we made many more, real friends, and talked to many interesting people.
Where do you live? - GSchjetne 10:50, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Wowzers, sounds like quite an adventure for you. I live in this place, but will move this summer when my studies are done with (at long last). Btw, check out this template that I recently made. :] //Big Adamsky 12:51, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Looked at your template, looks really useful. BTW, do you have any information about Belep? Is it even inhabited? We only got as far as Boat Pass, at the northern end of Grande Terre. My big dream is to go back there when I have my PPL and tour the island by plane. Some bush flying and archeology to Belep would be awesome. - GSchjetne 18:59, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Halloj Grim, my apologies for the unresponsiveness. I think the Belep are inhabited only by members of the local clan, and that tourist facities are nonexistant up there.

Are you seriously taking flying lessons??? I'm impressed. Do you have any prior experience of gliding, paragliding, parachuting or similar aeroports? I do, and as a matter of fact, I have made a digital map of Hordaland pinpointing venues used by "air sporters" for a school project (a cartography course).

Talk to you soon! Btw, you may have noticed hat I have added flags and emblems to the Subdivisions of New Caledonia and related articles now! =] // Big Adamsky BA's talk page 12:05, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again! Sorry, but I'm a bit absent-minded these days, what with exams coming up in six weeks from now. Whatever I get on my diploma pretty much decides my whole damn future, so I've sort of promised myself to spend as little time as possible on the Wikipedia until I erupt into a frenzy when I graduate...
But enough about that... The flying: about two years ago I decided to take up flying after having messed with X-Plane for a while. I took a sample lesson and I was hooked! Most people finish it within one year, but I'm pretty dedicated with school, and since I'm not aiming for a commercial license I could care less how bad it looks with so many training hours. - GSchjetne 19:07, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mila Kunis

[edit]

Hi there. Regarding your help request on my talkpage: your Ukrainian spelling at Mila Kunis seems OK. Although I had nothing to check cause there's no Ukrainian ot Russian sources linked from there :). If you want further check, please provide some linked pages or copy-pasted text. But, once again, the spelling seems OK.

Actually, I had no idea of that pretty babe's existence. But if I come through some local report on her Kyivan childhood, I'll throw you a link. Let me know if you need some other help. Best wishes, AlexPU 07:19, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You should watch That '70s Show. Her character may be obnoxious, but she has her moments. Anyway, I left this link in the talk page: Ukrainian newspaper article. I found it while googling on different combinations of cyrillic spellings, and by looking for key words that I actually understand (It's about КУЛЬТУРА, someone американських calls herself Міла Куніс, but her full name is Мілена Марківна Куніс, and apparently, she is born in 1983) --GSchjetne 09:29, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Maps

[edit]

I was wondering what tools you used to make your cannabis and rail network maps? Zath42 14:39, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I made them using the paint bucket tool in Photoshop, but any image editing program could probably do the same job. --GSchjetne 05:24, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I see, I was thinking it was something like MS MapPoint. They are nice maps though. Zath42 06:38, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Sirowitz.jpg

[edit]

Data sheets

[edit]

Back in 2007 you had commented about Data sheets for chemicals. Yes, there are many types of datasheets. Certainly an MSDS is by its title a datasheet. Also Methanol (data page) and many others are types of data sheets. FYI Grantmidnight (talk) 21:08, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article List of flying clubs in Norway has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:LINKFARM & WP:NOTDIRECTORY

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
