Indie Record Label

[edit]

I am wondering why a record label that has nearly a 100 mentions in other Wiki pages, has no page of its own. FreewheelinFrenchy (talk) 10:06, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

On Wikipedia, subjects are suitable for their own article if they meet the relevant notability criteria. If you think the record label you're referring to meets the criteria you're encouraged to create an article about it. ~Liancetalk 14:05, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Liance,
The label I want to write about has been at the forefront of Indie music since 1979, and as an indie with no connection to a major label, have racked up gold and silver albums and singles. They also were the first label to release music by artists/bands as varied as Adamski, Dogs d’Amour, Ozric Tentacles, Sly Digs, etc. as well as having been home to countless other bands. They were the first indie label to get a specialist #1 album (HM Charts) and there are over 35 references to them in your own pages that I have seen, while others say it’s nearer 100. Surely, worth of a few lines in Wikipedia. FreewheelinFrenchy (talk) 14:46, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you're sure the relevant criteria is met you can get started over at Wikipedia:Article wizard ~Liancetalk 16:11, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
