User:FloridaArmy - The lede sentence says: Too-Cowee (sometimes Cowee) (also Stecoah), was an important historic Cherokee town located near the Little Tennessee River north of present-day Franklin, North Carolina.. Both the draft and the article are about places with a Cherokee history. The school and the community center, and the modern community, can be included in the existing article. If you think that a separate article is in order, I would suggest discussing it at the parent article talk page, Talk:Too-Cowee. Robert McClenon (talk) 01:19, 16 August 2024 (UTC)

User:Robert McClenon you are asserting they are the same place and rejected the entry on that basis. Google Maps shows them 40 minutes apart, and as I pointed out I'm not finding overlap in the content of the entries. Maybe you should initiate a discussion to find out if they are the same place or share a name (one of several in the case of the former Indian encampment). I am seeing very substantial coverage in the sources including of the principal and his work at the school and I see and entire book from Cornell University on one of the school's programs. I wonder if you'd reconsider? The entry needs expansion but its notability is clearly established. Hey, I tried to strike off another missing senator from African-American officeholders during and following the Reconstruction era for SC, see Draft:Thomas J. Reynolds. Not sure why you need to ask but as Wiktionary makes clear, an army is both a formal and informal term for a large group of people. I don't know if your name is supposed to represent a formal military army (there is a Florida Army National Guard), an informal army of editors, some other group, or was just a name that seemed good when you registered - either way, it implies there's a group of you. An Army Ant is not a large group of people. And the etymology at the Wiktionary link you offer gives nuances to the meaning of the word army. You hven't identified any group you think my name represents other than the Florida National Guard, but I have never heard it referred to as the Florida Army, and I don't think that is a reasonable interpretation. (talk page stalker) @Dorsetonian, note that FloridaArmy is a long established user editing since 2016 with 170K+ edits and many admins are aware of them so if there was an issue it would have already been addressed. They have already been reported to Wikipedia:Usernames for administrator attention multiple times for instance and rejected 2017, 2020 , 2021 and those are ones done with the tool that puts the reported name in the edit summary. I agree with the reviewers who noted 1) there is no such thing as a Florida Army and 2) the most likely and reasonable interpretation would be someone in Florida who serves or served in the U. S. Army. I was unaware of the reports. I don't remember anyone notifying me about them although I think somebody once raised an issue about my username and another editor explained what I have noted and what the username reviewers stated. If my name is causing anyone angst I am willing to be renamed User:Boundless Love. FloridaArmy (talk) 12:21, 5 September 2024 (UTC)

The most used tool WP:TWINKLE does not alert the user when reporting, it generally saves stress from bad reports - they just get silently denied. I don't see your name causing any issues, but renaming would confuse people due to the large amount of name-recognition you have built up over the years.
