Welcome!

Greetings Evyn08 and welcome (again!) to both Wikipedia and to COM482! I saw that you picked Adobe Lightroom. Although the article is a stub, you can see that the article is somewhat advanced compared to many others—although much of it is just a list of features and such. As a result, so you might need to dig a bit deeper to make significant improvement to the article. It also looks like you are already making good progress on that.

Look at the talk page of the article (Talk:Adobe Lightroom) for related WikiProjects that will have links to excellent articles on similar topics which should point you at templates and examples of how to improve the article. I'm looking forward to seeing watching the article develop over the next week. —mako 15:02, 19 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User:Evyn08/Adobe Lightroom/Cgooby Peer Review

[edit]

Hi Evyn! (love ur name btw), I just finished reviewing your article. I actually copy and pasted it and then left comments and edits in that sandbox. Overall, I think you have done a really great job adding to the article and it sounds very professional and neutral. I look forward to seeing your finished work! here is the direct link to the peer review: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Evyn08/Adobe_Lightroom/Cgooby_Peer_Review?veaction=edit&preload=Template%3ADashboard.wikiedu.org_peer_review User:Evyn08

Feedback on your draft

[edit]

Greetings Evyn08! I've made a pass on User:Evyn08/Adobe Lightroom. The material you've added looks great. I had a couple comments:

  • It looks like you've added quite a bit of content to the lede. You should check out WP:LEDE to make sure that all the new material is really appropriate to foreground in the summary at the top of the article. It feel like some of the detail (including stuff that was there before!) might be better off elsewhere in the article.
  • You've added a bunch of references to Adobe which are really primary sources. That's not a problem for backing up these kinds of claims and I don't think you should remove them or anything but I do think that more sources that are distant from the subject would be helpful.

In any case, I don't see any problem with what you've added. Why don't you go ahead and start moving things over to live version. If you want to make more changes to the article, you just doing it in the live version. Good luck and thanks for your work on the article! —mako 18:51, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
