I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia guidelines. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage newer editors. Please read Wikipedia:NOTVAND for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. Ian.thomson (talk) 23:24, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please note that at the top of the reference desk, it states "Yes, if you need advice or opinions, it's better to ask elsewhere" and "The reference desk does not answer requests for opinions or predictions about future events. Do not start a debate; please seek an internet forum instead." Per WP:NOTFORUM, the reference desk is really only to find information which either is present in this encyclopedia (but hard to find), or might belong in this encyclopedia. The question you asked contained the answer to it in it, so the only reason anyone would have to respond would be to join you in disgust at the concept. Again, per WP:NOTFORUM, that's not what this site is for. Ian.thomson (talk) 23:24, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Wikipedia:Reference desk/Miscellaneous. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Ian.thomson (talk) 23:30, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Wikipedia:Reference desk/Miscellaneous shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:32, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 60 hours for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on User talk:Dominus Vobisdu. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Tagishsimon (talk) 23:35, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
