Idiosyncratic referencing in French article

As you've already discovered, the French article has an unusual referencing system. Without going into the gory details here, I've set up a temporary section in the article (which perhaps should be moved here instead) as a worksheet to help convert the French references as new sections get translated and brought in. If you see what's going on with it, feel free to add new items to the worksheet in the same pattern, and if not, don't worry about it, just keep on with what you've been doing.
