Comment on Energy Independence Act of 2007

[edit]

Hello, I'm working on a report for a graduate school course, and am required to find someone to comment on the effectiveness and important outcomes of the Energy Independence Act of 2007. You clearly seem knowledgeable, and your position with the National Research Council makes you a good person to quote. Would you be interested in answering a few questions for some grad students? Thank you very much. Windwardcourse (talk) 04:14, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

On what are you working?

National Research Council Collaboration

[edit]

Hi Earlgrey101, User:Aude directed me to your message and I am very interested in working with you to foster a collaboration with you and to have some of the NRC staff enrich Wikipedia articles! A bit about myself, I have been involved in the Public Policy Initiative (now the Global Education Program) that brought Wikipedia editing into the classrooms since its inception. I have been both an instructor for courses in Chemistry as well as a Campus Ambassador charged with teaching students the basics of Wikipedia editing. I will be emailing you some of my contact info so we can set up a time for us to talk more directly about our next steps from here? Thank you. Best, MichChemGSI (talk) 01:24, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi MichChemGSI, thanks for your note! I really appreciate you and Aude getting back to me so quickly. I saw your email, and I'll reply directly. Thanks again! Earlgrey101 (talk) 12:27, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

She Blinded me with Science Edit-a-Thon!

[edit]

Hi Earlgrey101! I just wanted to invite you to an upcoming edit-a-thon! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/DC_30

Who should come? You should. Really.
She Blinded Me with Science: Smithsonian Women in Science Edit-a-Thon will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at the Smithsonian Archives in Washington, D.C. This edit-a-thon will focus on improving and writing Wikipedia content about women from the Smithsonian who contributed to the sciences. It will be followed by a happy hour meetup! We look forward to seeing you there!

It's just something I just heard about and I think that you might be interested in attending! MichChemGSI (talk) 02:45, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Abrupt climate change, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page National Research Council (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
