Reliable source

[edit]

Please have a look at Wikipedia:Reliable sources. You cited a WP:BLOG "feministbookclub.com", which isn't a reliable source. We use high-quality peer-reviewed academic sources for such claims. See WP:SCHOLARSHIP. WikiLinuz🍁(talk) 01:24, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sources you included on your diff on 19:59, 18 Jan. 2022:
  1. Christy, Arthur E. (1945). The Asian Legacy and American Life. New York: John Day. p. 39.
  2. Auteri, Steph (6 June 2020). "Educate & Activate: Cultural Appropriation". Feminist Book Club. Retrieved 19 January 2022.
Your source #1 is primary and self-serving. And, source #2 is WP:BLOG of some random book club. Both of them cannot be used for the claim that concept had been described earlier, notably by Arthur E. Christy in 1945. You said book club's blog is a peer-reviewed; I fear you don't understand what a "peer-reviewed academic journal" means. Again, please have a look at the suggested Wiki policies; that'd help you grasp.
Do not come to my talk page regarding this again. Your talk page edits will be reverted. WikiLinuz🍁(talk) 01:46, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No, you misunderstand. The ORIGINAL article is scholarly work, not the book club.

The original article is not "self-serving;" it is the very piece of research I am trying to include! How is that "self-serving?"

Please do not carry on this edit war. I believe I am allowed to tag your user talk page correspondingly if you do.
