Information icon Hello, I'm Jayantanth. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Manirampur Upazila, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Jayanta Nath (Talk|Contrb) 18:07, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

But, you have removed a lot of information which was not added by me. Those were added there before, but you've removed them. Why? For example, You've removed all information from educational institutions section. But, the information in that section was not added by me. That were added there before. I just edited them, arranged them into sub-sections, but you've removed them. None of the information were wrong. Actually, Manirampur is an un-developed area. So, it has't any good website which can be used as good source. But, the information should be published. So, what can I do now? There were information about crops, agricultural products, etc. Is there any website where there information are published? You've removed the notable personalities section. But it was not added by me. There names are not published in any website as we don't have such kind of site TOLD YOU FIRST. But there names need to be published. Then? And I want to tell you that it's not good to remove those information which were not added by me. Those were added there about 2 years ago as far as I know. ??????????? Duke Khan (talk) 19:52, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Duke Khan, first go through with Sitakunda Upazila (it is also un-developed area), it is an one standard article. Second, learn how to write encyclopedic article. Then you understand why I cleanup this article.- Jayanta Nath (Talk|Contrb) 07:58, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Duke Khan (talk) 08:35, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Manirampur Upazila

[edit]

In your edits to Manirampur Upazila, you are misusing the author and editor parameters of citation templates. These are for the author whose name appears on books, newspaper articles, magazine stories, etc. and for the original editor of books, newspapers, magazines, etc. It is not for the name of a Wikipedia editor. Wikipedia editors should use their name on talk pages (with the ~~~~ signature, for instance), but basically a Wikipedia editor's name should never appear on article pages. If you have made the same mistake on other articles, please remove the name "Duke Khan" from them.

Furthermore, although some of the sources you've added to Manirampur Upazila are reliable sources, many are not, and will have to be removed. Look for books, articles in scholarly journals, newspaper stories, and magazine articles. Sparing use may be made of official government websites, and official websites of NGOs and companies. Websites such as: www.jessore.info, www.wikibangla.net, manirampur.wapka.mobi, bd.geoview.info, www.alltravels.com, and so on, do not meet Wikipedia's definition of reliable sources, and must not be used as references. For an example of a good (although far from perfect) upazila article, study Sitakunda Upazila. Worldbruce (talk) 01:12, 8 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
