In your first sentence, you mention two time periods within one sentence. Perhaps you could reword it or punctuate it differently?

as in: ...scholastic philosophers that-in the context of the Renaissance of the 12th century-gave special contribution...

You list off many names, do you have any pictures of these men at the school painted inside the classroom or something of the sort?

You referred to these men in the first paragraph as "This group"...group of men what? from where? what are they doing? Oh dear Thorin I'm lost :(

What about a picture of the school itself?

Oh and where was this school? It says Oxford so are we to assume it is where we think it is? If you were to give a relative location that would be very helpful.

Also, exactly when was the school founded? How long did the school, stay an active school? Could you add a few dates? I understand there may not be exact dates available, but if you could get as close as possible that would be neat.
