Important Notice

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. - Doug Wells

Funny, I was thinking the exact same thing.
First off, I am assuming that I am allowed to speak candidly and freely here.
Clearly you must feel that I have said something against you, as you have provided me with no reason to think it was against anyone else, seeing how you are the only person ever to complain warn me anything I have said. Certainly no one else is, both privately and publically.
So allow me to state this to you. (Keep in mind that I have now just seen this letter late at night on 12/19 and am using ALL current posts by you and me, including my latest post where I defend myself against your constant, public, UNPROVOKED attacks at me.
“Even though you are an administrator, please refrain from your repeated harassment and rude comments towards me in the Vox talk section, or I will be forced to send off a letter to another administrator or the Wikimedia Foundation detailing you blatant attempt to goad me into trouble. Others have the right to have discussions with others who are not you. This is a non profit organization that I have been a part of as well for eleven years. You do not own it and should not be engaged in bigotry. Thank You.”

Bigot - (a person who is “intolerant” toward those holding different opinions.)

Remember, in eleven years of posting on Wikipedia, this is the first time anyone has accused me of anything. My record is clean.
On a personal level, I write my responses, let them sit, then rewrite and rewrite. I also reread and reread. Maybe you did the same; and didn't fly off the handle and make quick rude posts; you might not make so many stupid incorrect judgments towards others who simply share a different opinion then you. (Case in point, I will have rewritten this probably ten times before posting it.)
My advice? Slow down, check your ego at the door, and maybe you will see ALL the errors YOU made in ASSUMING incorrect things in that thread. Seriously, reread you responses to me, and attempt to see what you wrote to me, and just how wrong you were. In reality, you have been engaged in a constant harassment and bully session against me. Don’t believe me? Incapable of seeing it? Then by all means let me know, I will break it down for you right here, post, by post. No problem.
Please stop harassing me into publicly defending myself from you unprovoked attacks by you or I will take this up directly with the Wikimedia Foundation. I hate to go there, but because you clearly feel you can spin things, simply because you are an administrator, I suppose I will have little choice but to defend myself with them.
