Hi Dave I have started a page on some of the Jersey politicians which you may like to check over.

Judy Martin for example.

Have fun

Recent Silliness

[edit]

Dave your recently silliness has plumbed the depths of JDA stupidity. You know very well who I am and you know very well which user name is Darius'.

You have been changing pages for your own groups and politicians who are members of your political party, but thankfully we are more sensible than to waste our time playing silly games.

I have started a page for Geoff, if you are unhappy with anything then let me know and I will change it. RichardColgate 22:19, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Who is a politician

[edit]

Dave I don't want to keep arguing so please see: Politician#Considered_a_politician

Anyone involved in a political party or pressure group is a politician under the terms defined for wikipedia. To that end you yourself would meet the criterian and would fall within the category Jersey politicians.

Since Geraint Jennings, Darius Pearce and Peter Pearce all hold at least local and I would say regional positions they also qualify for that category. Geraint is also active in the pressure group societe jersiase and Darius is active in a political party and a pressure group.

As a member of the paid town hall administration I may be biased in trying make myself more important by making the honorary officials more important, which I believe is your feeling.

Hi Dave, since we have decided the notability criteria for Municipality members I have added Steve Pallett since he gets a fair amount of press coverage, have a look and change/add to as necessary. Thanks. Also JDA logo added. RichardColgate 17:39, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well I have gone through and found some more refs, I also felt it was a bit too POV both for in some sections and anti in others, hopefully this is ok now but let me know what you think. RichardColgate 21:49, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dave just starting to gather the information for this page and I have assumed that the JDA will be submitting at least one candidate to the election if not you may need to make the appropriate change.

Hi Dave. From time to time I visit the above article, having helped out previously, especially when it was put up for deletion.

I am concerned to note that all the Progress Jersey dot com references and external link no longer work (therefore don't count as references), merely redirect to a holding page advertising what looks to be a range of services below a very nice-looking backpacker.

What's going on? The article is in danger of losing it's credibility. I won't be doing anything negative here, but interested editors really need to get about either providing new sources for information, or removing unproveable stuff.

Best wishes. Ref (chew)(do) 21:50, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh dear. Such is public life it seems. I will not be actively seeking the article's destruction myself. Thanks for the reply. Ref (chew)(do) 20:23, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
