Hi Darsana.vinod, I was indeed updating my page. I saw someone had created a stub that requested further info at the bottom to fill it out. I was merely updating it with an accurate bibliography listing, no opinions or subjective info anything. I was still in the process of creating links when you removed the page. However, I see after the removal that updating even factual information like a verifiable bibliography of publications is considered COI under the Wikipedia guidelines (which I should have read first in hindsight), so if that is the case then please disregard my changes. Sorry for the confusion.GregV73 (talk) 05:25, 21 September 2018 (UTC)GregV73[reply]

Hello, GregV73 (talk), please read WP:COIEDIT WP:DCOI and If you want to contribute connected page Greg A. Vaughan page request in talk page Talk:Greg_A._Vaughan mentioning reliable sources. Take care Darsana.vinod (talk) 09:05, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Rush Hour at AFD

[edit]

Hello, something went wrong with your nomination of Rush Hour 4 at WP:AFD; probably you or your Twinkle software got a little confused somewhere. We all make mistakes; nobody's unhappy with you :-)

Following a note at the administrators' noticeboard (WP:AN#Rush Hour (franchise)), administrator Floquenbeam removed the discussion from the daily log, and following agreement by the AFD voters, I've deleted the discussion itself. It's fine if you want to create a new nomination immediately, and if you're concerned that something will get messed up again, feel free to ask for help. Normally I'd offer to create the nomination myself if you want, but I'll have no Internet access for the next few days; if you want help, you could go to WP:HD, which is dedicated to answering questions like this, or you might try asking Floquenbeam, who's quite experienced and should be able to create the nomination easily. Rollback granted

[edit]

Hi Darsana.vinod. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! TheSandDoctor Talk 04:29, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me on my talk page any time . --TheSandDoctor Talk 04:30, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
TheSandDoctor TalkThank you. sure I will read the guidelines and use it properly Darsana.vinod (talk) 04:34, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
And a suggestion: you might want to also check out Template:u and Template:reply. They are a lot easier to use than copying signatures . If you want to learn more about templates, Help:Template is always useful. --TheSandDoctor Talk 04:44, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@TheSandDoctor: Thanks again for your great mind teaching me about Templates. :) Take care Darsana.vinod (talk) 04:59, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. If you have any questions about rollback or otherwise relating to Wikipedia, please feel free to either bring them up on my talk page (linked above) or by pinging me like you did in your last message. --TheSandDoctor Talk 05:05, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources question

[edit]

Hi Darsana.vinod, You reverted today changes I have made on an article Neshka Robeva because of lack of reliable source. However, for most of my changes I put references or links to other Wikipedia pages. For example, in a new section "Notable Pupils", I had added, I listed the names of Olympic, World and European champions with links to their currently existing Wikipedia pages. Isn't this considered as reliable source? I also added 2 medals won by Neshka Robeva in Havana 1971, based on the page about that year's World Championships. Thank you for letting me know why these changes have been reverted. FSRGfan (talk) 01:14, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @FSRGfan: , Pls read WP:WPNOTRS links to other wikipedia pages wont count as reliable source. When you add a information to an article you have to support that with citations.Read WP:RS WP:CITE Take care Darsana.vinod (talk) 05:39, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't finished. Article on National Education Service policy proposed by the UK labour party

[edit]

Firstly I wasn't finished editing, I was taking the time to leave an explaination for each edit as you could see in the edit history.

Its confusing that you would remove my content for not finding a reliable source, when I hadn't actually added anything. I merely deleted and re worded, anything that was opinionated, and un-referenced. Funny that.

The article needed a lot of work in the end, in order to preserve some of the content i added that some of the views on the current governments approach to education, was those views expressed by the party when they give examples of current policy not working, otherwise there opinions would have sounded like facts. Had to delete that whole section about the current government experimenting as thats very subjective. The article still needs a lot of work. I will reverse the edit on the fact that it was Corbyns idea if i can find a reference, the references i found on the policy in the labour party manifesto did not give credit to who thought of the idea, but reverse my edit on that if you can find a reference ideally from a UK news source.

Personally I think the whole thing needs rewriting

Anyway you sent me a message saying you wanted to talk so here I am

Hello, @2A00:23C1:B575:1801:CD94:7DFA:1F41:1993:,There was no references for your edit changes in National Education Service.Wikipedia articles should be WP:VERIFY.And there was some errors too in your edits. take advantage of your sandbox for testing things.
