What's New

[edit]

Wow, I left this fallow for five years? Really?! That's pretty lame.

Well, I'm now withing three to four semesters of graduating with a degree in Geology. The prospect of facing a field camp in the Colorado Rockies is both alluring and downright frightening to me. (I'm in no shape to handle life at 11,000 feet.) Chances are, I'll chicken out and go for a Bachelor of Arts instead--then take a vacation to the Rockies to see how I handle it. If it turns out I can handle it, I'll see about adding a field camp to my résumé and upgrading the Arts to the Sciences. Dahile00 (talk) 14:59, 24 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dahile00! I'm helping to organize THATCamp Kentucky - June 1 & 2 at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Take a look at the Tentative Schedule. Let's get together in person to work on Kentucky-related wikipedia pages, what do you say? If you have any questions, please email the THATCamp KY Organizer, Lee Skallerup Bessette (Morehead State University, @readywriting) at thatcampky@gmail.com. Please sign up to participate Wikimeetup Kentucky. Thanks for editing Wikipedia and I look forward to working with you! Randolph.hollingsworth (talk) 18:43, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for the invitation. However, I will be in Foster City, California on those days, and will be spending the rest of the week in an around San Francisco and Redwood City. Dahile00 (talk) 00:11, 25 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If I get another invitation to a Wikipedia meetup, I'll take it. The woman in Foster City isn't in my life any more. Dahile00 (talk) 14:59, 24 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
