Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, DJRSD, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Architecture Discipline, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at the our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. CSD tagging

[edit]

Hi there

Please be careful with CSD tagging. There's some tags you have added that I'm not sure meet the policy. Please see Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Local Variable (talk) 13:48, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please suggest which CSD tags are not appropriate. DJRSD (talk) 17:47, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I only thought to check up on this now. You can use {{ping|username}} to ping people. This one was added by a fairly experienced editor and credibly stated the importance or significance of the subject. The deletion test for A7 is of course higher than the test for deletion for want of notability. This one has POV problems, but I really don't think it is G11 material. Perhaps it will be deleted if the author doesn't challenge the tag. Actually, the article which first attracted my attention was this one, which has now been deleted. It seems you were vindicated in the end - it was deleted. I was honestly a bit surprised about that - it contained a source, there are several Google results for the subject, and contained a credible claim of significance in the form of a significant following. It was those three articles, coupled with the relatively few edits you have, that led me to comment. I gained the impression you were 'having a go' at speedy deletion tagging without being across the criteria, but sorry, I guess I was mistaken - the number of errors is fairly low so far. Happy patrolling. Local Variable (talk) 12:26, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Is there supposed to be a discussion about a page being proposed for deletion? I thought that is the process.Yousef Raz (talk) 19:15, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

CSD Tagging

[edit]

Hi DJRSD

Once again, please be careful with CSD tagging. Speedy deletion criteria A7, A9, and A11 mandates that pages can only be tagged for CSD if they don't make a "credible claim of significance" (See Wikipedia:Credible claim of significance), which is a much more lenient standard than notability. If notability is concerned, please use either PROD or XFD. Carwile2 *message* 12:44, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

User:Carwile2, Can you please explain which CSD tag is inappropriate? DJRSD (talk) 05:36, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed you tagged Chester Stone for CSD. CSD criteria A7, A9, and A11 should only be used where there is no claim of significance. The page asserts that the subject is an influencer and includes somewhat-credible citations to back this. It is, however, questionable whether this page would meet Wikipedia:Notability. Because of this, AfD or PROD would be more appropriate. CSD has a strict criteria that should not be overused (See Wikipedia:New pages patrol). Carwile2 *message* 13:19, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding deletion of Changa app

[edit]

I have researched around it and have added all the reliable sources. I read all the media published articles and only then have I created this Wikipedia page. Woodpecker123 (talk) 12:01, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Rishabh Thakur, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. [edit]

Re: Stefanie Gurzanski

[edit]

Hello. I noticed that you tagged the Stefanie Gurzanski page for undisclosed paid editing and moved it to draft space. Another editor has created an identical copy of the draft in main space at Stephanie Knight Gurzanski. This all-new article looked eerily familiar. The new article has been tagged as possibly tainted, but supporting evidence will be needed. • Gene93k (talk) 13:36, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Elli, I am not the creator of the article Platformafrica, User:Aloro gordon paul is the main creator of this article. You should notify to creator of this article. Moreover i already moved article from main-space to draft but creator again published the article without fixing the issue. For such cases article must not be move to draft again but it should be go for afd or speedy. DJRSD (talk) 05:15, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Radio Quarantine

[edit]

Hello DJRSD. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Radio Quarantine, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Coverage in newspapers like the NYT, The Economist, Business Standard means WP:A7 is not applicable here. Presumably any WP:G11 issues would have been thoroughly beaten down in its DYK nomination. Pete AU aka . Thank you. Shirt58 (talk) 09:13, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
