Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Mamelodi Sundowns F.C. has been reverted.
Your edit here to Mamelodi Sundowns F.C. was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline (see also this list of frequently-discussed sources). The reference(s) you added or changed (https://footballranking.fandom.com/wiki/South_Africa) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Source help

[edit]

Hello GREG, I just recreated an account and saw you are engaged in South African football articles, I think you can help me. I started editing to improve some articles from South Africa and I posted two websites that are famous for their relevance in terms of ranking. The Football Database and the Football Ranking. However, I received a notification on my talk page that the Football Ranking one caused an automatic reversion by a bot. So, I need source help, how can I add reliable sources if bot exclude automatically all my improvements and if I leave without source will be a problem too, no? Thank you very much. CrazyLoverFutbolLoko (talk) 18:28, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello CrazyLoverFutbolLoko. I also had that specific problem the first time I added sources to articles. You can try reading through Reliable Sources, It can give you a pretty good idea behind good sources you can use for wikipedia articles.
Before adding a source, Read through it and confirm whether the infomation is correct and whether its from a reliable website and not from social media. Try not to write the exact words used in the source when improving an article and try not to use biased language.
was my responce helpful? try telling me the exact part you don't understand. GREG (talk) 09:09, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The problem is that the information I added was correct. The one from FootballDataBase that they kept was correct, but also the one they deleted, from Football Ranking, as you can see here. So, this make things hard to understand.
Thank you very much for your help! CrazyLoverFutbolLoko (talk) 03:12, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, actually there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia talk:Arbitration Committee/Noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved! If the situation evolves, it will probably end up in arbitration at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case! You welcome! Thank you very much! Factionalism and WP:BATTLEGROUND behavior is not permitted. Cullen328 (talk) 01:36, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I joined this faction precisely to fight people like you, dictatorships, who cannot listen to other people's opinions! Quite the contrary, they comment, talk and can't hear what the other person has to say! You TRY to silence me, an user who wants the best for Wikipedia and its constant evolution, that's why I joined that task force!
Far from me wanting to be a martyr, but I'll leave a quote of mine in the Wikipedia talk:Arbitration Committee/Noticeboard#Attack by user SirMemeGod:
"I was targeted by this user! More than that, a team that aims to make Wikipedia bigger, better and more accurate every day (of which I am member), was also the target of his attacks! He blatantly lied by claiming that we are vandalizing pages, which is not true! Quite the contrary, today our made the 1st Act, creating a new article and edited the other related ones to make them in accordance, using primary and many secondary sources as reference for it! Also, everybody can see our historic of contribution before that, always to improve Wikipedia! I don't know if he got scared with the name of the team, that use words like "revolutionize", but that is just to create an impact to make our group grow and achieve our goal, which is to make Wikipedia bigger, better and more accurate every day! Thank you very much!" CrazyLoverFutbolLoko (talk) 01:44, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This is blatant battleground behavior. Wikipedia isn't a place to "fight" with people. You have to edit collaboratively and avoid making personal attacks. Nythar (💬-🍀) 01:49, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Because of your battleground reply, your block has been extended to one month and your talk page access has been revoked. Please read WP:UTRS for your options. Cullen328 (talk) 01:51, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Advice

[edit]

Hello, CrazyLoverFutbolLoko,

When you come back to Wikipedia after your block is over (if you come back), I just thought I'd leave a comment to ease your return. You only edited for 3 days and you received a month-long block. So, you have to do things differently since your initial editing here was not successful. You really need to learn more about Wikipedia policies and guidelines before you start making accusations against other editors. Consider that editors who have been editing Wikipedia for 5, 10, 15 or 20 years probably have a better understanding of editing on this project than you do. Respect the advice they are offering to you and don't see disagreement as a battleground where you are trying to "win". You might have formed a new group to improve Wikipedia, which is a laudable goal, but first you have to understand our policies and practices before jumping into the deep end of the swimming pool.

A great place to bring your questions is the Teahouse, a forum for new editors to get advice and support from more experienced editors. If you, and all of your "team" is inexperienced, you really could use a mentor or more experienced editors when you run into obstacles. I hope when you return, you adopt a more collaborative attitude towards your fellow editors. We are all supposed to be on the same side, working to improve articles on this project. Liz Read! Welcome to Wikipedia: check out the Teahouse!
