unprotection request

I wonder if you feel that User_talk:Jimbo Wales still needs semi-protection. It's been protected for months because of some apparent incident at that time, but that doesn't look to be the usual situation.[1] I was hoping to leave him a note, so if unprotection looks workable then I'd appreciate it. Thanks. 76.197.56.242 (talk) 05:52, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

I've removed the protection, I would have set an expiry but then the move protection would have been removed as well. Have a nice day :D --Chris 08:17, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Can you help?

Hi Chris G! I've just added myself to the members list of the WP:CVU task force. Can you tell me how to create my status page? I couldn't find any clear instructions there. You were the first member who was online on the list, so I'm asking you. Thanks :) Chamal Talk 14:43, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

Oh, it's OK. I didn't realize it's not working Chamal Talk 15:21, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

Images

I stumbled upon your BRFA. Before you start having it add images I think we need to have a little more discussion. Is it really necessary? When we first started the protection page we decided it wasn't until the images became a problem. I don't think we are at that point yet. Next, how exactly are you going to add them? How are you going to deal with fair use? What benefit does image protection here really bring? Just a few questions before we go down the image protection road. I left my support and I want to say again thanks for all the help. Without your bot this would be a huge time consuming effort. KnightLago (talk) 15:35, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for reminding me, I've responded on the brfa --Chris 10:45, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

FA protection bot

Hey, I just wanted to let you know I've approved your bot for a trial run, under rather strict circumstances, if you have any questions, you can e-mail me at sxwiki@gmail.com or, hit my talkpage, or, PM me on IRC (nick: SQLDb). I'm around one of those, pretty frequently, cept from around 3PM PST to 1am PST. SQLQuery me! 05:40, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, trial started --Chris 09:04, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

My RfB

Hi Chris. Thanks for the contrib. I'm really glad that you picked up on some poor wording in my answer to Q11. I've gone back and clarified. I'm not looking to change your mind on the !vote by posting here, just a genuine thank you for helping me ensure that future readers can see what I meant to say, but didn't explain fully. --Dweller (talk) 10:08, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

No problem :) --Chris 10:45, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
Kind of you to strike that. Thanks. --Dweller (talk) 12:24, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
