Historic Santa Fe Foundation

Your edits indicate that you have an obvious conflict of interest when it comes to editing articles about this subject. If you work directly or indirectly for the organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly. Regardless, if you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Bluetele. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Bluetele|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:12, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

OK, I've restored the article, but made these edits. Please don't restore the deleted text, ask if you don't understand why any of it has gone. The description of your office location was pretty much verbatim from the website, although I'd accept that most text is not copied.

I assume you have seen my comments at User talk:HSFF. You must provide independent third-party references as defined in the link. Put your references in the the text following the fact each supports using <ref>[url description]</ref>.

You must also put {{Connected contributor|User1=Bluetele |U1-EH=yes |U1-declared=yes |U1-otherlinks=COI declared on talk page}} on the article talk page

If you are paid by the organisation, you must also complete the declaration {{paid|user=Bluetele|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}} Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:11, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Again, I'm unsure of what method to use to write to you. I hope I picked the appropriate one. Can you tell me what "this could be merged to the community's own article" means. What community is that? Are you referring to the Wikipedia pages that reference the Historic Santa Fe Foundation? Those are entries about well-known artists, businessmen, historic figures. Is that the community I should merge into? How do I merge something with those pages. I'm really struggling here. Also, the Foundation has been preserving buildings for 60 years, but it doesn't attract stories by the New York Times. Our local newspaper covers Foundation activities and I referenced one of its articles. Is there a definition of "major independent news" that I can see to get some understanding? How many references are sufficient?

Thanks.
