Hello, Binod.hyoju. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Supriya Maskey, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Supriya Maskey to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 14:35, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:55, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Just a couple of points about your editing of Supriya Maskey.

Firstly, if you want to use the same reference more than once in an article, please don't just duplicate the reference, such as putting <ref>www.example.com/webpage.html</ref> more than once in the article. Doing so makes it difficult to keep track of the references. Much better is to give the reference a name the first time it is used, like this: <ref name=example_name>www.example.com/webpage.html</ref>, and then, when you use the same reference again, you can just refer to it by that name: <ref name=example_name />. This collects duplicate references together in the reference list, and makes it easier to keep track of them. It also makes editing easier, as it avoids so many long and complex URLs. Secondly, please don't put links in an external links section that duplicate links already given elsewhere in the article as references. It does not help to clutter up an article with an excessive number of links, and multiple copies of the same link, whether in the form of duplications within the reference list, in the form of external links that repeat links already given as references, or in any other form, are unhelpful. An external links section should be used only for links to relevant pages which are not suitable as references, and if all the links are suitable as references then there is no need to have an "external links section" at all. The guideline to external links says "Links in the 'External links' section should be kept to a minimum. A lack of external links or a small number of external links is not a reason to add external links." JamesBWatson (talk) 09:13, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you jamesBwatson and Kudpung I have studied your points on editing and will apply for next to come. Thanks for assisting me. I was unaware of references duplication and now i think everything is on the track. I have understood how to code the references. I apologize for the mistakes I did unintentionally.I am now aware of the use of reference properly. I have to research throughly. Getting back to study wiki rules... You guys are great. Thanks once again for showing the dedication to assisting me... Binod Hyoju 13:12, 8 October 2012 (UTC) --Binod Hyoju 13:12, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Widr. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to Sarina Maskey, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Widr (talk) 17:01, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Sarina Maskey with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. Widr (talk) 17:10, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There are no speedy deletion criteria that apply to this article. Please do not try speedy deletion again. You can try to use the proposed deletion process but it would probably be better to use the articles for deletion process. GB fan 15:19, 23 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Binod.hyoju. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Classic Tech, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 23:27, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Classic Tech requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
