Welcome to Wikipedia. An article you recently created, EcosimPro, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new articles, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do and please read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Douglasmtaylor 11:08, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with EcosimPro. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Douglasmtaylor 11:12, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from articles you have created yourself, as you did with EcosimPro. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Douglasmtaylor 11:55, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with EcosimPro. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Douglasmtaylor 12:07, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from an article you created, as you did with EcosimPro, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Douglasmtaylor 12:22, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:EcosimPro-example-pendulum.png, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:EcosimPro-example-pendulum.png has a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission, which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3). While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case[1][2]. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. See our non-free content guidelines for more more information.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:EcosimPro-example-pendulum.png itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 08:42, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

EcosimPro

[edit]

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article EcosimPro, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. As a footnote to this automatic message that Twinkle put on your page here, you have a long history of removing my tags from the page. If you disagree, please use the article's discussion page to state your reasons and do not remove the tag. Douglasmtaylor 18:35, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of EcosimPro

[edit]

EcosimPro, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that EcosimPro satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/EcosimPro and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of EcosimPro during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Douglasmtaylor 04:55, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of PROOSIS, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.proosis.com. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Hello, Berkut wiki. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article EcosimPro, you may need to consider our guidance on conflicts of interest.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Widefox; talk 17:05, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
