Fubar Films

[edit]

Hi. And welcome. If you haven't already, please consider reading:

  • WP:NYF. Films that have not yet been released cannot readily demonstrate sufficient coverage in reviews, awards, selection for preservation in national archive, inclusion as a topic/subject in a film school, etc. Absent these things it may be difficult to confirm that WP:NF is met.
  • WP:COI. Editors with a connection to a subject are expected to consider a few fairly simple things. You have implied, in your edits/uploads to Wikipedia Commons (including by claiming "own work" on posters and promotional photographs), that you are connected to the subjects you are editing. Please consider disclosing that connection and reviewing the relevant editing etiquette guidelines. (On the other hand, if you are not associated with the subject, please explain how "own work" applies to these uploads.)

Thanks. Guliolopez (talk) 20:34, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up and beginning to understand how things work. Maybe you could assist. AlexKL2 (talk) 21:05, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Assist how? If you have a connection to that/those subjects, you can read and follow the guidelines of WP:DISCLOSE. (On Wikipedia. For the related articles.) And can read and follow the expectations of COM:ET. (On Commons. For the related images.) Both are fairly straight forward. If anything is unclear I guess I can help. But I don't have first-hand experience to draw on. And so the WP:HELPDESK could also be a good bet. (As an aside, and noting that the same image was previously uploaded by other accounts, with the same "own work / I took these" tags, you could also read about when using/coordinating across multiple accounts is (and isn't) OK....
