Landmarks (The University of Texas at Austin)

[edit]

Hello Abp44. Are you affiliated with Landmarks? Please be aware that adding many links to a single external site can have the appearance of promotional editing. (See WP:SPAMMER). Please feel free to reply below. Thank you. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 22:49, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Paul,

The purpose is not promotional, but to share original scholarship about the artist's work. Please review the links to confirm. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Abp44 (talkcontribs)

I've looked at several of them, and they have all appearance of being promotional. I notice that you did not answer my question whether you are affiliated with Landmarks. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 16:07, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Margaretbrown95, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
