Savvas Betinis (Greek: Σαββας Μπετινης) born July 21, 1980 in Crete, Greece is a heavy metal bassist and vocalist. He currently plays with bands Acid Death and Kinetic He was born in Crete-Greece in 1972. Since 1981 he lives in Athens. He started studying and playing bass guitar in 1988. From 1989 till now he plays bass/lead vocals in two professional Metal bands, ACID DEATH, from 1989 till 2001,2011 Reunion - Present and KINETIC, 2002-present.Both bands have importand live and discographic past and present. Above you can have a good taste on how these bands sound like. His music preferences vary from old-school Thrash Metal till todays Death/Black/Nu/Industrial Metal and from clasic Rock till AOR. I try to put all these music tendencies into the music he creates...and sometimes He makes it. The musicians that influenced him were: Billy Sheehan, Yotis Kiourtzoglou,Chuck Schuldiner+,Nikos Ksilouris. From autumn 2010 he started his recording place with the name S.I.A. Recordings to offer my services on the Production, recording, mixing and mastering.
