Tanmoy Ghosh (born 01 July 1981) is a Chemical Engineer by profession & working in a private sector. He is a vivid traveler & travelled various part of the globe. He is a socio-political activist & presently is the Secretary of Bangla Sanskriti Mancha.

Personal life

Tanmoy Ghosh was born in 1981 in a interior village of West Bengal. His father, Subhas Chandra Ghoshwas a school teacher. He completed his Bachelor of Chemical Engineeringin 2003 from Jadavpur University in Kolkata. He has worked in various sector & now continuing in a private sector as senior management in International Business. He studied & grown up in a remote village of West Bengal , then moved to Jadavpur University to pursue his engineering. In due course of time became the face of the masses & became one of the most popular & versatile student leader. He has travelled various continent of world including Europe, Russia, Africa& Asia. During his travel he has managed to acquire knowledge on socio-cultural diversity across the globe. Gradually became face of various socio-political movement in West Bengal. He is founder member & Secretary of Bangla Sanskriti Mancha. He is good orator and keeps interest in acting, writing drama, making film.

Activism

• During his college time, he was actively associated with left student’s politics & became renounce students leader of that time. He was the face of several students & social movement during his era as student. • He was member of various statutory committee of university during his tenure as student. • He also became Convener of prestigious Annual cultural festival of Jadavpur University Engineering faculty. • He is one of the prominent leader of guardian’s movement of Kolkata. • He is a socio-political activist & works on communal harmony, empowerment of women, against child abuse, rehabilitation of migrant worker, for justice of deprived segment of society, facilitating minority segment for education & health. • He keeps strong political view & fight for the secularism, basic human rights as per Indian constitution, for humanity & equal rights for all citizen. • He is Secretary of Bangla Sanskriti Mancha.
