Lucy Quinn Fabray (born April 30, 1993) is an American actress. She is most well-known for her roles as Rebecca Doppelmeyer in Ghost World (2014), and Felicity Worthington in A Great and Terrible Beauty (2015).

Early life

[edit]

Lucy Fabray was born and raised in Lima, Ohio. Her mother Judy is a real estate agent, and her father Russell is a lawyer. She was raised in a very Christian household, and she still carries most of the beliefs instilled in her as a child today. She became pregnant at the age of sixteen and gave her baby up for adoption, an event which she doesn't attempt to hide and has stated in interviews to be the hardest thing she's ever gone through. She attended Yale for a year and a half before dropping out to pursue her career.

Career

[edit]

Lucy made her film debut in 2014, in the remake of the 2001 film Ghost World. She was praised for her role by critics everywhere, and was nominated in the 2014 Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy. Shortly afterwards, it was announced that Fabray would be portraying Felicity Worthington, friend to lead character Gemma Doyle in the film adaptation of the novel A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray alongside Sophie Turner, Nina Dobrev and Taissa Farmiga. She will be repeating her role as Felicity in the upcoming sequel, Rebel Angels.
