The Kingom of Mexico (officially the Reyno de México Tenvxtitlan) or Temixtitan was an administrative subdivision of the Spanish Empire, governed and administered by the Viceroyalty of New Spain since in1535. It was also one of the kingdoms that, together with the Kingdom of New Galicia, the Kingdom of New Viscaya, the New Kingdom of Leon, the Kingdom of Guatemala and the Capitancy General of the Philippines, formed the Viceroyalty of New Spain.

It was subdivided into the provinces of Mexico, Puebla, Antequera, Veracruzm Valladolid and Guerrero. With the ratification of the Constitution of 1812, Mexico, along with the rest of the kingdoms of the Indies, was incorporated into the Kingdom of Spain, with representation guaranteed by the constitution, establishing the Province of New Spain in its place.
