The 379th Expeditionary Communications Squadron is a communications squadron of the United States Air Force. It is part of the 379th Expeditionary Mission Support Group, 379th Air Expeditionary Wing,[1] United States Air Forces Central, United States Central Command.

The squadron runs the base post office.[2][3]

Redesignated:

  • 2030th Communications Squadron on 1 Jul 1961
  • 2030th Information Systems Squadron on 1 Jul 1984
  • 2030th Communications Squadron on 1 Nov 1986
  • 379th Communications Squadron on 1 Sep 1991

Inactivated on 1 May 1993

Redesignated 379th Expeditionary Communications Squadron and converted to provisional status on 4 Dec 2001
