Solita Oy is a service company that specialises in demanding Business Intelligence and integration services and tailored software solutions. The company provides services to the following sectors: media, services and trade, telecom, industry and public.
History
[edit]Solita was established by Heikki Halme in 1996. The company operated under the name Sensor Software Consulting until 2003, and initially focused on Java-based software solutions and products.[1]
In 2002, the company began to develop Business Intelligence solutions. Soon afterward, portals and integration services were also included in the company’s offering. Today Solita sells BI and integration solutions to a wide range of companies and organisations in Finland and abroad.
Solita has always been a profitable and fast-growing company. In 2009 the company’s turnover was € 13,5mil[1], and employed 170 people.
