Fernando Bribiesca Sahagún (Zamora, Michoacán, August 16 1981) is the Congressman for the Second District of Congreso de la Unión LXII Term. He is the Congress’ Directive Table Secretary [1] in representation of Nueva Alianza parliamentary group.
Education
[edit]Fernando Bribiesca has a degree in International Relations from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. He also has a Master in Politics Management from George Washington University in Columbia District in the United States. As part of his education he went to different programs of Civil Society and Democracy in London School of Economics and Political Science and in the Foundation for Analysis and Social Studies in Madrid, Spain.
Career Path
[edit]During his stay in the United States, Fernando Bribiesca worked for Political Communication and Public Relations firms where he participated in different subjects as migration, commerce, environment and automobile industry. He also participated as a volunteer in Instituto Nuevo Amanecer in Monterrey and in a series of Health Campaigns in Chiapas State. He is founder associate of AVE Consulting, a political consultants office that has participated in campaigns in Mexico, Central and South America. He forms part of the Consultative Counsel from Vamos México Foundation.
On August 29 2012 he took place as Congressman for the Second District of Congreso de la Unión LXII Term. He is the Congress’ Directive Table Secretary in representation of Nueva Alianza parliamentary group. He is also Secretary of Global Legislators Organization Mexico’s Chapter, GLOBE [2], which principal duty is the promotion of local and global agreements that pursue decreasing vulnerability and softening environmental change impact within the Congress Power.
