Karuneegasamudiram village is in Vellore district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is a village located 8km from the Gudiyatham Municipality and 40 km from the city of Vellore.

Kali amman Temple located in Karuneegasamudiram village, famous for its yearly carnival every year in the month of May (Tamil month - Vaigasi) which attracts thousands of people from various places. The Temple is famous for its fair. The temple is located on the road side of village near the bus stand of Karuneegasamudiram village.

The Kali amman Temple includes of Vinayagar, Murugar and Navagraha all the four at one place.

Karuneegasamudiram belongs to Gudiyatham assembly constituency is part of Vellore Lok Sabha constituency.[4] Kamarajar was elected as a Member of Legislative Assembly from the Gudiyatham constituency when he was the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
