TEE GREEN - Vocalist

[edit]

Tee Green has been a session singer, solo artist and vocal coach for many years, singing for and coaching some of our biggest recording artists. He has also made it into the Guinness book of World Records[1]by being the singer who held the longest vocal note in a studio recording, beating all his predecessors, Barbara Streisand, Melba Moore, Johnny Nash and Bill Withers. The note was featured on the Benard Ighner[2] classic 'Everything Must Change'[3]

Tee initially gained recognition with his backing vocals and arrangements with E17 [4]sharing the stage with Brian Harvey on the hit record 'If You Ever'[5]. This was later recorded by E17 with Gabrielle[6] and reached number 2 in the UK single chart.

Behind most successful pop singers stand their vocal coach. Behind The Saturdays, Words Apart, Peter Andre and countless others, Tee's vocals can be heard on albums with sales of over 120 million, backing artists such as; Kylie Minogue, Lighthouse Family, Lulu, Will Young, Chris de Berg, Daryl Hall to name a few.

Tee ventured out to sing on stage with local legendary band 'Deep Feeling[7]' who were the resident band at the Green Man, Leytonstone and pro musicians. Tee also fronted the. short lived, band 'Freeze Green' with guitarist Keith Waites, both went on to join Clem Curtis in 'The Foundations'.
