From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I am a student of the University of Bergamo enrolled in the first year of master's degree in Planning and Management of Tourism Systems and I am contributing to some articles, about some aspects of my territory and its heritage, for the exam of "Heritage studies and ICT", https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:GLAM/UNIBG/Heritage_studies_and_ICT

I worked on articles already on Wikipedia, editing some of their parts with both the two editing interfaces: VisualEditor and classic Wikitext editing.

My contribution includes:

  • Added information on the Italian page of the city of Crema (my native town) concerning 1) the section of physical geography, in which I've introduced the sub-chapters about the Corography and the Hydrography aspects of the territory and 2) the section on infrastructure and transport, in particular information about railways and tramways. All the notions have been extrapolated from a book about the history of this city that I found in the library and the source of which has been included in the bibliography. Link: [Crema]
  • Translation and addition of information on the English page of the city of Crema, concerning the culture section. I've introduced some information about the civic museum, the local cuisine and the traditional dishes. Link: Crema
  • Translation and addition of information on the English page of the Civic Museum of Crema, concerning the headquarters and its historical events and the Museum History. Moreover, in order to make the page clearer and readable, I've introduced a section entitled "Collections and organization of sections" in which I've inserted the pre-existing archeological section and introduced the new ones about the historical, artistic and music aspect. Lastly, I added a brief comment on the discussion (talk) page of all the articles I contributed to improve.

  1. [Talk: Crema]
  2. Talk: Crema, Lombardy
  3. Talk: Civic Museum of Crema
