I visited the photographer page on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: Different types of photography, provide more details on “ Photo Sharing”, and lack of citations"

Different types of photography

[edit]

There are many different types of photographers in the 21st Century. Each one of them have their own specialties, there are some photographers who have mastered all of these: Aerial, amateur, sports, adventure and action, advertisement, people, landscape, pinhole, satellite, artistic, aura, time lapse, microphobic, panoramic, nature and night. It takes continuous years of photography to master tall of these skills. This page should talk more about the types of photographers and the skills they’ve acquired.

Provide more details about photo sharing

[edit]

As I was reading more about this topic I noticed author cites a link to another article. I suggest instead of citing a link to another article he should’ve provided more information about photo sharing. Some readers don’t prefer to get distract by the empty subject with article cited, they would much rather prefer staying on the same page and read that article. There are many different ways of sharing a photo, especially today with the technology we’ve developed we can share our photos in social media such as facebook, instagram, and twitter etc. Photographers can also create their own private website to share photos so anyone can examine their work.

Lack of citation

[edit]

Another thing I noticed on this page is that it lacks citations. There are some topics which are not cited for example, commercial photography, television advertising and fine arts. These topics are equally important as other topics listed on this page. If they were to add more detailed information about the topics I talked about above in the contest, this page should’ve reliable references and citations for itself, because there is only one reliable reference link and a couple external links provided at the bottom of the page.

Summary

[edit]

If i had to rate this page from a scale of 1-10, I would go with 6 because there some errors that could be improved such as detailed information on reliable topics and this page has weak sources of citations which makes this page less helpful.

I also posted a comment on talk page here.

I had everything done on time, I was unable to post on my user page it was just posting my citations not my work. I don't know why it is doing that. I will try again tomorrow morning if its my server. I don't know why its not letting me upload though.
