BIO Alex Newe is a director, producer, and musical artist from Northern California. Newe started her music career by featuring as the lead singer for the band, AXP on Spotify and iTunes. AXP was invited to perform by Univision television network with their single, "Poppy" on January 3rd, 2020. Since then the band has released a few singles and an EP, with their most successful single, "How Inconvenient" gaining traction on TikTok.

Newe has recently split off from AXP, focusing on her solo career. Alex Newe has released a total of 9 songs since June of 2020. Her most popular track featuring Philippines artist, J. Caleb "Sober" was released in February of 2021.

FILMOGRAPHY Newe began her filmmaking career while attending California State University, Long Beach. she has recently finished directing the feature-length documentary "The Unveiled Truth" which is projected to be released in May 2021. Newe worked closely with Hungarian filmmaker, Eve Jablonkay to create this documentary exploring the causes and effects of police brutality in America. The film is also set to premiere at film festivals across the globe, including the LA film fest.

Newe is also currently undergoing pre-production for a music video, set to premiere late spring. She has teamed up with Beverly hills filmmaker Shane Atkins to produce a solo music video.

EDUCATION Newe began her studies at California State University Long Beach but has since transferred to the University of California, Santa Barbara to pursue her Bachelors of Arts in Film and Media Studies.
