The Network (streaming service)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Network is an American streaming service and production company that consists both originals produced by The Network and limited acquisitions from other studios. The ad-supported streaming service offers a curated collection of original content that cannot be streamed on any other streaming platforms within the United States, and sells the rights to run their produced content internationally. Uniquely, The Network is planned to only release two titles each quarter.[1]

The service was launched in the United States in May of 2024[2] with two titles, The Green Veil and Chivalry,[3] and added Kingdom of Dreams in September of 2024. Also in September of 2024, The Network partnered with Comcast to offer The Green Veil ad-free exclusively for Comcast customers for Hispanic Heritage Month.[4]

The Network's first produced original, The Green Veil, starred John Leguizamo and was written and directed by Aram Rappaport. The historical fiction series follows Leguizamo as Gordon Rogers, an United States government agent and Latin immigrant obsessed with the American Dream. [1][5] The series was inspired by the government programs designed to remove Native American children from their communities and place them in white families. [5] The Green Veil was renewed for a second season in June of 2024.[1]
