The Brazilian Report is a Brazilian online newspaper in English that was launched in 2017. Founded by a group of journalists led by Gustavo Ribeiro, its mission is "to be a Brazilian voice in the international arena, explaining Brazil's ins and outs to foreign audiences."[1]

History

[edit]

The site replaced the Plus 55 blog, which published news from Brazil in English. The new website now focuses on publishing analyses and texts that contextualize what is happening in the country.[2] The website is based in Brasilia.[3]
