  • Articles: Symbister House is new enough (created 2 Feb 2013) and long enough (2,603). Symbister is 5x expanded; article was 658 at 13:41, 1 February 2013 and was 4,311 at the time of nomination (14:11, 4 February 2013); both articles appear to be neutral; free of plagiarism and are not BLP's. Sizes checked using DYKcheck
  • Hook: Hook is too long at 216 characters (incl. spaces); Hook is sourced but source (Undiscovered Scotland) may not be WP:RS and its eligibility should be checked at WP:RSN
  • Other: QPQ is compliant; Symbister House has one suitably licensed image and Symbister has three (excluding map)

Reduce hook length; hook source may not be WP:RS --Senra (talk) 10:43, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

I like the hook, I've shortened it.♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 20:11, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
Needs another reviewer to check hook source which may not be WP:RS. Hook is now 189 characters (incl. spaces) --Senra (talk) 00:41, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
Ask WP:Scotland, it's a top website on Scottish subjects which is used as a source for hundreds of articles on here.♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 12:36, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

Per this, now on hold waiting for consensus at WP:RSN --Senra (talk) 13:34, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

It appears from the RSN that Marwick, Ernest W (1975). The Folklore of Orkney and Shetland. Rowman & Littlefield. p. 96. ISBN 9780874716818. Retrieved 21 February 2013. ... and the old Ha of Symbister, in Whalsay (S), was haunted by a seaman, believed to have been murdered by the gardener, after the two had been left together one night to finish a game of cards. If the hook text was cited in the article to this source and the hook was modified to remove the word old from the phrase "old seaman" I would no longer have any objections to the hook --Senra (talk) 17:39, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
Good to go providing the un-sourced word old remains removed from the otherwise now reliably sourced hook --Senra (talk) 19:03, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
