Shekhar: Ek Jivani

DYK rules state a 7-day limit, and this was nominated on December 4 meaning it's still within the allowed timeframe. In addition, this is a new DYK editor and we're usually more lenient on new nominators. With that said, the article has a big "copyedit" tag on it, which needs to be resolved before this can be approved. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 11:48, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
I have requested on GOCE for copyediting. Thanks. -Gazal world (talk) 12:49, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
copy editing done. -Gazal world (talk) 08:56, 15 December 2018 (UTC)

Created 23 Nov, nominated 4 Dec; ie, 4 days late. Given that there were no edits in the meantime and that this is a relatively new contributor to DYK, their 4th nom, I am going to let it go. Gazal world, please read the rules.

The source is a high quality academic journal, but is behind a paywall. A quick browse of this article and others created by the same editor shows that they appear to take sourcing seriously, and the abstract suggests that the journal article is likely to come to that sort of conclusion, so I am going to AGF.

A reasonable and interesting article. Well cited and with a reasonably interesting hook. However, the hook does not quite match the article. Which states "many critics recognized it as"; this is not the same as "was". Proposed new hook:

ALT1 ... that Shekhar: Ek Jivani by Agyeya has been considered the first psychoanalytic novel in Hindi literature?

Gazal world, what do you think? Gog the Mild (talk) 00:29, 19 December 2018 (UTC)

@Gog the Mild: Hi Gog. Thanks for your review. I moved this article on 29 November to main space from the draft space. See history. The new hook suggested by you is better. -Gazal world (talk) 05:32, 19 December 2018 (UTC)
Apologies Gazal world. I don't know how I missed the edit summary. I must be going blind. ALT1 approved. Gog the Mild (talk) 12:52, 19 December 2018 (UTC)
