Protests against Faure Gnassingbé

[edit]
  • ... that the Let's Save Togo Collective called for a week-long sex strike at a protest rally in August 2013 to encourage men to oppose Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé? Source: "Activists say that the strike will motivate men who are not involved in the political movement to pursue its goals" [1]
    • ALT1:... that the government of Togo shut down the country's internet in September 2017 to counter scheduled anti-government protests? Source: "Togo is the latest African nation to shut down access to the internet after protests against president Faure Gnassingbé were scheduled to take place this week." [2]

Length, history and references verified. I like the original hook a lot better ... a lot of governments have shut down the sections of the Internet under their control in response to protests. Daniel Case (talk) 19:48, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
