As of this time, the nominator has not edited the article since 18 December 2016‎ (diff), and after 18 December 2016 has been asked on their talk page three times to revisit this discussion, which has not occurred. Several outstanding issues raised in the review herein on 25 December 2016 have not been addressed, (e.g. some paragraphs still have no inline citations) and there is no indication that they will be. Of note is that the page size stated in the recent review appears to be incorrect, with the article containing 3959 B of prose on 18 December 2016. North America1000 10:23, 14 January 2017 (UTC)

  • * ... that it took almost 20 years to build the monument of Bohdan Khmelnytsky in Kiev since the draft was approved in 1869 to the grand opening in 1888? (Source: Tsalyk, Stanislav. Khmelnytsky monument was to be installed at Besarabka. Gazeta.ua. 19 June 2008)

Created by Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk). Self-nominated at 11:27, 29 November 2016 (UTC).

A source for this statement would be very much appreciated. An exceptional source for an exceptional claim. Kailash29792 (talk) 07:50, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
Aleksandr Grigoryev, are you still committed to this DYK? Kailash29792 (talk) 14:19, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
Review: Here is the most in-depth review I can give before this article can appear on the front page: Even though the lead section has three paragraphs (which appears good), it could be further expanded as each para has only a sentence or two. The infobox also needs to be expanded, with that DAB link fixed and the caption reworded. The "History" section is almost completely unsourced, added by the fact that there are only two references used in the whole article (one of them is used four times). There is a "Gallery" section, but it seems to violate WP:GALLERY. It lacks sources completely and needs to have them. Or maybe both sections could be merged. Either way, the final image in the gallery section has no caption which it requires. Both the references need to be properly formatted (re-add them properly using a gadget like ProveIt). If there is an online link for ref#2, please provide one. For an article to appear at DYK, it's prose size must be greater than or equal to 1500 characters. The size is currently 1326 B. Once all these issues are addressed, the article is DYK worthy. Kailash29792 (talk) 10:20, 25 December 2016 (UTC)
