Asifa Lahore

Created by GnocchiFan (talk). Self-nominated at 00:56, 18 December 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Asifa Lahore; consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.

  • I shall review this. Please be patient - it may take a while because it needs copyediting (but not content change). Storye book (talk) 17:09, 30 December 2023 (UTC)

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: None required.

Overall: One issue

  • The hook is cited in the article, but the article does not include anything about security concerns in the mosque. The article needs to give clearly, the same information as given in the hook.
  • I have copyedited the article, but have not changed content. This does not affect DYK,
  • I have changed the name in the body of the article, from "Asifa" to "Lahore" in line with WP house style, and also because the Guardian and Observer have referred to her formally in that way.

If the information about fear of security concerns in the mosque can be included in the article, alongside its existing citation, then this nom should be OK. Storye book (talk) 18:06, 30 December 2023 (UTC)

@Storye book: Thank you so much for the copyedits, I really appreciate it! My bad for not including the security concerns in the main article text, I have done that now per the BBC source used. – GnocchiFan (talk) 18:11, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
Thank you, :GnocchiFan.
Good to go. Storye book (talk) 18:23, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
