We need a picture of her... Meccaneer 14:31, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
There's a picture of her at OC ReMix. Perhaps we can use that. [1] --DalkaenT/C 14:58, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

New Album

I recently downloaded an album featuring Yoko Shimomura with another Japanese artist named Chata titled "Murmur". The credits state all songs composed and arranged by Shimomura while Chata was responsible for all the vocals. Can anyone verify this info? If so, we should probably post up the info on it. //DaJungKi 20:17, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

The info is correct, and I added it. Most of the stores stocking it has mislabeled it under game music eventhough it's really not. Play-Asia for example. Preacher Bob 00:23, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Has it actually been confirmed that she'll be the composer of the three upcoming Kingdom Hearts games?

Just because she has been the composer of every Kingdom Hearts game to date does not mean that we can merely assume that she'll be the composer of each of the three known upcoming entries in the series...as far as I know, this has not been officially confirmed anywhere, and until I see proof, I'm not sure if it's fair to list her as the composer for these games (although most likely music she has composed for previous games in the series will appear in these games, and in fact this has been confirmed for 358/2 Days). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Speyeker (talkcontribs) 02:59, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

I'd love to update all the pictures of various game composers on this site, however, the lame copyright rules impede that... Even if the image is under fair use, some user will most likely remove it anyway, so what's the point? Dissident93 08:23, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
"some user will most likely remove it" -> some user will remove it. Photos of living people are required to be either public domain/GFDL, or Creative Commons. I'd really like to update all the composer's pictures as well, but the only thing that can really be done about it (beyond taking our own pictures, which is hard if you're not in Japan), is to ask people on Flickr or wherever to re-license their pictures. It does work sometimes, so please do try if you care. --PresN 15:52, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
