Page added as Whistlefield, Dunbartonshire was being confused with Whistlefield, Argyll and Bute. LITTLE LUGS (talk) 19:21, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

council area

[edit]

Whistlefield, Dunbartonshire was in Dunbartonshire but since a boundary change is now in Argyll and Bute. However, there is already a Whistlefield, Argyll and Bute in Cowal. So how to differentiate between the two if both are in the Argyll and Bute council area? LITTLE LUGS (talk) 20:14, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @LITTLE LUGS: This article is probably not notable. Good first article, but the consensus for villages is that there must at 10 houses to make it a proper village. Whistlefield seems to be only a roundabout. scope_creepTalk 22:18, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I had a google maps. It seems to be only a couple of houses, which is insufficient per consensus. scope_creepTalk 22:21, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Its not marked as a village, either which is a good indication. scope_creepTalk 22:23, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
