India and Pakistan casualties

The table in the casualties section gives separate entries for India and Pakistan which are identical. This is clearly an anachronism. The question is whether this is a double entry (ie added twice) or the total for British India was split equally between the two? This clearly needs to be remedied but I am not certain how to fix this. Cinderella157 (talk) 11:31, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
