Move article to Tolstoyism

[edit]

Proposal - Move the article from Tolstoyan to Tolstoyism. This title better encompasses the whole movement behind Tolstoys ideas (as per the Gandhism in relation to Gandhi) rather than just the name given to an individual (i.e. Tolstoyan and Gandhian). I also suggest starting a category called Category:Tolstoyism. If there are no objections over the next few days, I will request that the article is moved. • Oppose. Unless there are reliable sources that discuss "Tolstoyism," as there are for Gandhism, such a move would be inappropriate. We know that the people referred to themselves, and were referred to by others, as Tolstoyan, so that is an appropriate name. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 17:51, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed the suggestion. I believe Tolstoy himself did not even like the term (or Tolstoyan for that matter).[1] Nirvana2013 (talk) 09:26, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
