This is a joke entry, right? Anybody against deletion? Peter S. 11:21, 27 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think the history and phenomenon of the Tiki Bar is article worthy, however the current offering is quite lacking. Feel free to delete, with the knowledge that this page may come back bigger and better than before. -Dr Haggis - Talk 05:24, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I added enough stuff to get this started and removed the "cleanup" tag. There should be enough there now to pique peoples' interest, at least. Jkeiser 18:54, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Great job, congrats! :-) Peter S. 23:40, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I like it, too!  :-)

I plumped up article summary by defining a “tiki bar” as a drinking establishment, listing some of the decorative features that differentiate a tiki bar from other types of bars, and mentioning “tiki mugs”. I also added some related articles in the “See Also” section.

Is it worth mentioning within this article that "Tiki Bar" can also refer to a free-standing piece of furniture, or simply the bar itself? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Voodlecat (talkcontribs) 15:40, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't take 56 references to provide verification for one sentence

[edit]

Can someone explain why the paragraph about Eli Hedley needs 56 references to support it? As of the revision before the one I just came across, there was a single reference marker with 56 "cite web" templates inside it. In the current revision, it looks like someone split them into 56 separate references and then embedded those into a single note. Largoplazo (talk) 21:36, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
