Notability

[edit]

There was a red link for the Winding Stair on the page for the film-maker Brian Philip Davis for the Winding Stair showing that there was some need for this entry.

I think this is an important band because of their place within the revival of dark folk and magical themes in music. Dark folk is emerging with people like Laura Marling, and magical themes are getting really prominent with the Klaxons and Late of the Pier.

Their notability is evident given their frequent invitations to be featured on BBC media. - Radio 1 and 2, BBC 2, and a music video of their song Meadow, directed by Brian Philip Davis is hosted on the BBC ulster website http://www.bbc.co.uk/northernireland/atl/atltv3_ep3.shtml

Having appeared on Radio 1, Radio 2 and at Glastonbury there will be many people looking for information about the band. Their association with the noted film-maker Brian Philip Davis in itself makes them notable. Timothymurphy (talk) 14:22, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

i was just trying to add an info box, using one from another band's page as template. i don't understand what was wrong, expect that i haven't finished filling in the correct info, and had the wrong photo... let me try to finish this.
