New article

[edit]

This is a new article on the Rockin' Ramrods. They are best known for 1964 their protopunk "She Lied," which sounds a lot like the Ramones who would arrive over a decade later. It is the first song that I know of to have what is sometimes referred to as "wall of guitars" where the chords of the distorted guitars blend into each other in such a way as not to hear the chord changes. This would become a stylistic hallmark of many of the songs during the 70s punk movement. Obviously this article is a work in process. If you have any additional sources or additional sourced information, your contribution would be welcome. Thanks. Garagepunk66 (talk) 21:54, 13 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
