Nice start! I've fixed some of the links, and other problems, and removed the unreviewed template. What this needs:

  1. Info box, with picture of one of the covers (doesn't matter which one)
  2. sales info
  3. Greater explanation of what the book was about (for example, what are the revolutions he talks about?)
  4. Expansion of reviews: this book was widely reviewed (Blanning is a well known and important historian of 18th–19th century Europe). Reviews are widely available beyond the blurbs you culled from the amazon.com sites. Try JSTOR, or the full reviews. What did the reviewers say was good about it (beyond a jolly good read). What did they say was not so good?
  5. Expansion of material relating this book to Blanning's other work (will be evident when you look at the full reviews).
  6. Proper citations and page numbers (for example, cite 2 has no page number).
  7. Proper annotation of journals and newspapers --for example, which one of the many Daily Telegraphs do you refer to. (I know, you mean the London one, but you must say so, don't assume your reader knows--)?

Nice job, though. Bing me if you want another read through. auntieruth (talk) 19:14, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've made a few minor tweaks to this article, but it still needs a considerable amount of work (see above) to get beyond the stub phase, where I'm rating it now. auntieruth (talk) 18:29, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
